What is the air purifying coverage area for Sterra Mars?

Sterra Mars can cover up to 10 sqm which is the size of a standard bedroom.

What’s the difference between Sterra Moon, Mars, and Breeze?

All of the air purifiers are equipped with removing dust particles, odour when cooking, smoking, and pet dander. All 3 purify the air through the medical filter and release good and healthy air.
The differences between the 3 are the following:

Coverage:
- Breeze: 80 sqm
- Moon: 35 sqm
- Mars: 10 sqm

The differences between the 3 are the following:

Sterra Breeze is highly recommended to use in the living room with all bedrooms open. Bedrooms must not be blocked by the passageway as it will not allow the purification process.
Sterra Moon is highly suitable for room use.
Sterra Mars has the most space-saving is very suitable for small bedrooms, walk-in closets, bathrooms, or small office

The differences between the 3 are the following:

Sterra Breeze: Has both manual and app usage. There are also buttons on the machine if the customer doesn’t want to use the app.
Sterra Moon: Has app usage only to activate and control. The eyeball is used to operate the machine. There are no buttons.
Sterra Mars: Manual and app usage. There are also buttons on the machine if the customer doesn’t want to use the app.

Is there a standby/sleep mode?

The wind speed button can be put on Sleep mode wherein the release of purified air will be at its lowest. The machine also operates at a very quiet mode, less than or equal to 49dB, which is as quiet as a library.

How long does the filter last and how can I change it? Is the filter washable?

The filter lasts about 2200 hours. You’ll know to change the filter when the ring color flashes and changes to a red color. The filter used is not washable.

How do I clean the purifier?

For cleaning and storage, pls follow the following

Ensure the air purifier is powered off and unplugged from the power source
Take the filter out and use a dry cloth to gently wipe off any dust from the surface
Use a soft cloth with a neutral cleanser to clean away any dust from the surface of the air purifier
Ensure that the filter is not wet before installing it into the air purifier
If the air purifier is not to be used for a long time, ensure that it is dry before putting a dust cover over it and placing it in a cool and well-ventilated place
If the air purifier is not used for a long time, please turn on the air purifier for a few minutes from time to time
Ensure that no water, liquid or objects drop into the air purifier while cleaning the air outlet

Do you have a trade-in offer?

Unfortunately, there is no trade-in offer for Sterra Moon at the moment.

How much electricity is consumed by the Sterra Mars in 1 hour of usage?

The power consumption will not be huge, which is just 35W, around the same consumption when charging devices such as smartphones.

How does the Sterra Mars differ from competitors’ air purifiers?

Sterra Mars is suitable for small rooms, can place on a table without consuming a lot of space and is very portable. On top of that it has a 360 degree airflow in contrary to other purifiers which only blows air upwards or at a certain angle.

What do the blinking lights mean?

If the light is flashing and in red, it means that the filter needs to be changed. When changing the filter, please make sure to remove the filter packaging before use. The purifier should be turned on and unplugged before removing and installing the new filter.

Is it normal to smell plastic when Sterra Mars is turned on?

It is normal to smell a plastic smell when the air purifier is switched on for the first time. If the air purifier emits an unpleasant smell after a long period of time, it might be due to a dusty filter or the filter plastic that hasn't been removed. Hence, please check the filter if the plastic has been removed, or clean and replace the filter.

Since Sterra Mars does not have ION or UV function, how can we justify the benefits?

There is nothing to worry as both Ion and UV technology in the air purifier are not the one doing the purification but it is the HEPA-13 filter. The ION or UV technology found in Sterra Breeze and Sterra Moon is add-on air purification feature within the unit.Sterra Mars still uses the top medical grade HEPA-13 filter that filters at a maximum of 99.9% harmful contaminants.

Can the customer who bought the Sterra Moon or Sterra Breeze during the launch change their mind to downgrade the order to Sterra Mars?

Yes, the customer chooses to and the unit hasn’t been delivered. However, Sterra Mars has a smaller coverage area so it is not recommended to replace the purpose of purchasing Sterra Breeze Breeze and Moon as it is not able to cover the same space.

Does it have the HALAL and SIRIM certification?

Currently there is no HALAL and SIRIM certification for Sterra Mars.

Does Sterra Mars produces ozone?

Oozone is a gas rather than a particle,and Sterra Mars will not remove it from the air nor will be harmful. Our HEPA-13 filter has no effect on ozone levels, Our HEPA-13 filters are designed to remove 99.97 percent of all particles that are 0.3 microns in diameter from the air.

Crispy air in my room

Been using for the 3 days. My room has left dust on my surface layer and the air feels crisper. I switched it on 24 hours on weekend and control via wifi on weekdays. It’s light and portable which allow me to bring to any rooms at home.
