UV technology uses UV light to fully eradicates airborne pathogens and microorganisms like mold, bacteria, viruses and other tiny harmful microbes in the air. UV is also used for germicidal use in hospitals to improve indoor air quality for residential HVAC systems.
Ionic technology on the other hand works by creating negative ions using electricity and then releasing them into the air. These negative ions attract particles in the room, such as dust, bacteria, pollen, smoke, and other allergens.
The UV technology is by far the superior solution. It is a newer and cleaner technology that eliminates harmful air particles rather than just contain them. UV also eliminates harmful particles at a much faster rate, generally in seconds, as compared to over an hour for Ionic technology.

The Breeze Air Purifier will do everything for you.
